Beyond Graduation: Diploma Options and Their Impact 2022-2023

Students with IEPs receive specially designed instruction. As part of each IEP, we develop a transition plan for students starting at age 14. Their educational journey through K-12 education should be individualized to meet their unique learning needs. That includes their pathways to graduation and their exit from K-12 education. As case managers, it is our responsibility to know how IEP decisions made regarding transition planning will impact our students beyond their graduation from high school.
