This training will help you learn the fundamentals needed to succeed as a substitute teacher with SCPS.
Participants will explore the following topics:
- What to expect as a substitute teacher
- Using Employee Self Service (ESS)
- Using SmartFind Express
- Standards of Professional Conduct
- Technology Platforms within SCPS
- Special Education models
- Health and Safety Procedures
While not intended to be a comprehensive training course in online teaching, this workshop will help you begin to build your own toolkit of strategies and practices you can use as a substitute teacher.
